Using Old Vintage Hankies, that have been washed and
' Tea Dyed ' which is nothing more than using wet teabags to soak your fabric in. Decide what strength you want , light brown wash or darker. This works really well for white lace that you want to look older. Squeeze out the excess water and let dry or throw it into the dryer for a few mins.
With your hankie fabric ready, then decide which embellishments you want to use in creating your Hankie Book. I made 3 different books using similar ideas. These are so much fun. Use some fabric batting to give the hankie some ' puff '' and start building your book by sewing layers together.
