SIMPLE SUGAR COOKIES
- 1 CUP BUTTER OR MARGARINE OR ½ OF CUP EACH
- ¾ CUP SUGAR
- 1 EGG
- 3 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
PREHEAT THE OVEN TO 375. MIX FIRST
3 INGREDIENTS BLENDING WELL.
ADD FLOUR 1 CUP AT A TIME UNTIL WELL
MIXED. YOU CAN EITHER FLATTEN INTO 3 DISKS
AND CHILL DOUGH FOR A LATER TIME OR BEGIN TO ROLL DOUGH INTO ¼ INCH AND CUT
WITH COOKIE CUTTERS OF YOUR CHOICE.
BE SURE TO FLOUR YOUR ROLLING PIN AND WORK SURFACE TO PREVENT STICKY DOUGH. I MIX A BIT OF POWDERED SUGAR WITH A BIT OF FLOUR.

- ADD FOOD COLORING TO YOUR LIKING, DIVIDING INTO SEPARATE BOWLS
